Zakat is blessing, purity, growth and righteousness. And because of its good effect on the souls of all Muslims, especially the poor and the needy, God has enjoined zakat, and the tolerant Sharia has determined the amount considered for the obligation of zakat, so it is not obligatory in less than it, and it differs according to the types of funds on which zakat is due. The rule of zakat is that it is the third pillar of the five pillars of Islam, and it is obligatory for every Muslim whose money reaches the nisab. Zakat was imposed because it improves the conditions of society financially and morally, and purifies souls from stinginess and stinginess.

And God Almighty has clarified and entrusted in His book the explanation of the expenditures of zakat, and restricted it to eight types.
And for the slaves and the debtors, and in the cause of God, and the wayfarer, an obligation from God, and God is All-Knowing, Wise [At-Tawbah: 60].

There is a lot of good in its performance for those who took it out for God and for those who took it from God's servants. Among the benefits of zakat are:
1- Zakat purifies the payer from stinginess and miserliness, because the basic idea of zakat is to give away a small part of the money to the poor and needy.
2- It also purifies the souls of the poor from hatred and envy, and increases intimacy among Muslims.
3- A reason to increase good deeds and the abundance of livelihood.
4- It is one of the reasons for entering Paradise
5- Salvation from the heat of the Day of Resurrection, as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Everyone will be in the shade of his charity on the Day of Resurrection.)
6- It protects the purifier from calamities, expiates sins, and extinguishes the wrath of the Lord
7- Zakat achieves social solidarity and increases community cohesion.
Finally, it is evidence of the sincerity of the believer’s faith, and that is that money is beloved to souls, and the beloved is only spent seeking a beloved like him or more, but rather seeking a beloved more than him, and for this reason it is called charity. Because it indicates the sincerity of the owner's request to please God Almighty
